Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of the Foundation’s social media strategy across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
- Create visually appealing and compelling social media posts, graphics, and multimedia content
- Manage the Foundation’s social media channels, including monitoring, responding to comments and messages, and engaging with our online community
- Conduct research and analysis to identify social media trends, target audience preferences, and content performance
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement digital marketing campaigns to promote the Foundation’s events, programs, and initiatives
- Support the creation of email newsletters, website content, and other digital marketing materials
- Measure and report on the performance of social media and digital marketing efforts using relevant analytics tools
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media and digital marketing best practices and make recommendations for improving the Foundation’s online presence
Qualifications and Skills:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program, preferably in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field
- Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in using social media platforms and management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Canva, Google Analytics)
- Experience in content creation, including photography, graphic design, and/or video production
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms and techniques
- Analytical mindset and ability to interpret and present digital marketing data
- Excellent time management, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Passion for environmental sustainability and a commitment to the non-profit sector
