Job Description
Responsibilities
- Inventory Management:
Assist in tracking inventory levels, monitoring stock movements, and maintaining accurate records. - Shipment Coordination:
Support the coordination of shipments, including preparing shipping documents and tracking delivery status. - Data Entry and Reporting:
Enter and update logistics data in databases and spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and completeness. - Supplier Communication:
Help communicate with suppliers and vendors to schedule deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise. - Process Improvement:
Participate in identifying opportunities for improving logistics processes and increasing operational efficiency. - Administrative Support:
Provide general administrative support to the logistics team, including filing, documentation, and scheduling meetings.
Qualifications
- Education:
Currently pursuing a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. - Organizational Skills:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. - Analytical Skills:
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail. - Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and logistics software is a plus. - Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
