Job Description

Position summary:

  • The IT Intern will assist the IT Department with day-to-day IT-related activities
  • and support staff with IT-related issues.

Responsibilities:

  •  Provide technical assistance to staff and customers on hardware and
    software-related issues.
  • Installing and configuring computers, hardware operating systems and
    applications.
  • Ensure the safety & security of data, network access, backup systems,
    implement security measures to protect IT resources and investigate,
    remedy any computer viruses and malware attacks on IT equipment.
    Monitor IT system performance and troubleshoot of any issues.
    Assist in the deployment and maintenance of network infrastructure,
    including routers, switches, and firewalls. Responsible for monitoring
    and maintaining IT systems and networks.
  •  Participate in the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud
    infrastructure.
    Upgrading the software & hardware on a regular basis or while needed.
    Managing and maintaining the Domain environment system.
    Repairing equipment and replacing parts: Computer, Printer, DVR,
    Power Backup, and other related devices.
    Able to Travel to the provinces to support field offices related to IT.
    Preparing a weekly working plan to meet the deadline for each
    assigned task.
    Any other duty assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification:

Academic Background and Knowledge

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Application or
relevant qualification and experiences
Knowledge in IT Troubleshooting,
Knowledge of firewalls, routers, and other networking devises.
Knowledge of Domain Environment.
Skills
Good command of written and verbal English
Pashto and Dari languages are mandatory.
Excellent knowledge in Computer troubleshooting, MS office 365,
Outlook and other software.
Good knowledge and skills in Workgroup & Domain Environment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel to the provinces of Afghanistan while needed.
