Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and design a variety of visual elements, including social media graphics, informational flyers, brochures, and event materials
- Assist in the development and implementation of the school’s visual identity, including the creation of logos, color schemes, and design guidelines
- Produce high-quality, visually appealing designs that effectively communicate the school’s mission, values, and unique offerings
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute fresh and innovative design concepts that resonate with the school’s target audience
- Ensure all design work adheres to the school’s brand standards and guidelines
- Prepare design files and assets for both digital and print applications
- Support the optimization and adaptation of designs for different platforms and devices
- Gain proficiency in the use of design software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Assist in the maintenance and organization of the school’s design library and asset repository
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
- Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects, with a focus on academic or educational design
- Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design software
- Understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout, with the ability to apply them effectively
- Ability to translate creative concepts and ideas into visually appealing designs that resonate with the school’s target audience
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- Passion for education and a desire to contribute to the school’s marketing and branding initiatives
