Job Description
TITLE: Data Entry Intern
TEAM/PROGRAMME: IT LOCATION: Country Office – Kabul
Number of Vacancies: 3 CONTRACT LENGTH: Fixed Term
CHILD SAFEGUARDING:
Level 1: the post holder will not have contact with children and/or young people, or access to personal data about children or young people, as part of their work; therefore a police check will not be mandatory for this post unless the content of the post changes, in which case the Child Safeguarding level should be reviewed.
ROLE PURPOSE:
A Data Entry Intern typically provides support to an Organization by managing data input and ensuring accuracy in records and systems
SCOPE OF ROLE:
Reports to: Senior IT Officer
Staff reporting to this post: Nill
Role Dimensions: All Deportments
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY :
a) Accurately inputting data into company systems.
b) Verifying the accuracy of data entered by cross-referencing sources.
c) Reviewing and correcting data discrepancies or errors.
d) Assisting with the preparation of reports based on data analysis.
e) Maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.
f) Organizing and filing digital and physical documents.
g) Supporting other team members with administrative tasks related to data management.
h) Following established procedures for data handling and management..

QUALIFICATIONS
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a relevant field information technology (IT)
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
ESSENTIAL:
No prior work experience required; familiarity with data entry software or experience through coursework is a plus.
SKILLS:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and basic data entry tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong typing skills (speed and accuracy).
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Familiar with files Scanning
