Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement detailed lesson plans that align with the school’s curriculum and educational standards for computer science and technology
- Teach a range of computer-related subjects, including programming, coding, web design, digital media, and computer applications
- Utilize a variety of instructional methods, such as hands-on activities, project-based learning, and collaborative projects, to cater to diverse learning styles
- Seamlessly integrate technology into the teaching and learning process to enhance student engagement and outcomes
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to help them improve their skills and understanding
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavior
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a teaching certification
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of computer hardware, software, and programming concepts
- Proven ability to develop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that cater to diverse learning needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
- Proficiency in integrating various educational technologies, such as learning management systems, digital tools, and educational software
- Passion for teaching and a genuine interest in helping students develop their technological skills and problem-solving abilities
- Strong organizational and classroom management skills
