Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and collect relevant data from internal and external sources, such as databases, surveys, and publicly available datasets
- Perform data cleansing and standardization to ensure the quality and consistency of the data
- Organize and maintain data in a structured and easily accessible format, such as spreadsheets or databases
- Assist in the development and implementation of data collection protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data requirements and needs
- Conduct research and analysis to identify potential data sources and new data collection opportunities
- Participate in the development and testing of data collection tools and automation processes
- Analyze collected data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform decision-making
- Prepare data visualizations, reports, and presentations to communicate findings effectively
- Provide administrative support, such as data entry, documentation, and archiving, as needed
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and cross-functional initiatives to continuously learn and improve data collection processes
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets
- Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R
- Experience in data collection, data management, and data quality assurance
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with data visualization techniques and the ability to present data insights clearly
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn new data collection and analysis techniques
- Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations is a plus
